Long time no post, but I thought I'd just share some of tonight's capers. We had a family home evening, with the usual arguments over who gets to be the music person.
Bethany (6) sat on on an overturned cardboard box "house" we have in the loungeroom, and got her bottom stuck in the cardboard doorway. She kind of folded in half and wedged fast. All we could see was a head, shoulders&arms, and knees&feet sticking out. Damien had to extract her.
Later on, Damien was in "relaxed" mode all over the couch and Bethany decided to sit on him (all this was during the lesson of course). We were singing "love one another". Beth bounced in time with the lyrics. We just kept on singing, while Leila (4 1/2) and then even little Hannah (18 months) climbed up and joined in the bounce-on-Daddy squash. Every time they bounced, they forced air out of Damien in time with the music. It was pretty funny.

That's fantastic. I could completely, and utterly picture that happening.
was Damien wearing a 'Jump Here' sign on his shirt? That's teach him to relax during FHE... all that navy training and he's not alert and alarmed all the time? Do you have different music directors for each song? Pianist assignments + music directing + song choosing +... no I've run out of ways to get everyone feeling in charge all at the same time!
We only fight about the treat!
Love you
