Sticky tape handcuffs

Moments from today: Leila is enjoying scissors, paper and sticky tape, but today she somehow wrapped the tape around her hands, and ended up "cuffed". I had to peel her hands free.

Hannah is unhappy about getting dressed in what I want her to wear, when I want her to wear it. Its often similarly difficult to clean her teeth (I usually end up having to pin her down in the Lounge room with my knees on either side of her head).

One memorable moment from today was when Hannah brought out a pretty dress-up dress, and asked me (baby talk and gestures) to put it on her. She then directed me to start some music up on the piano (we have an electronic one) and danced beautiful toddler dances all around the lounge room.

She did some painting today with Leila (Beth was at school) and we cooked banana bread. We picked Beth up from school and then went to Sister Jan Beadle's house with some banana bread and some quilting gear. We visited with Jan, and I helped her choose her fabrics for a quilt square (for a relief Society project). Then we went to Dancing.

We were short on time, so I told Beth and Leila that if they got changed in less than 4 minutes they could have a dollar to buy a fizzy drink at the desk. Miracle!!! Could this be the same Beth that took forever this morning and was late for school?

Tonight Damien and I watched the end of Dr Who season 2 (David Tennant and Billie Piper). So sad!!!

yeah for Black Mulberry blogs! I miss you. The sticky tape sounds funny... the scissors a bit of a worry... I still haven't recovered from the last lot of hair cutting, so watch out!
We have had a return visit from the flour monster, which I plan to blog once I find new batteries for the camera, and can down load the photos. Love you guys heaps, and really miss you. We need to catch up. What days is Leila at school?
