Hair Flower Display

I made this framed hair flower/earring display board a few weeks ago.  The hair flowers are clipped on and come off easily for using in our hair.  I will have to redo it because it is not really big enough, doesn't fit hair sticks very well, and the glue isn't holding up to regular use.

In the mean time I made another one for Libby using what I'd learned from the first one and it is much better.  I folded the fabric to make pockets, and used a staple gun to put it all together.  My very first staple gun project: It was fun!   Much better than glue.

I gave the finished hair toys display board to Libby for her birthday.   I included some homemade hair flowers and a Ficarre hairclip.  It took me a while to deliver it to her because the girls and I were sick for about 10 days recently, so it was quite a belated present.  I think Libby and her girls will get a lot of use out of it.

I really love it, and felt very birthday-d. I love the Ficcare, and will probably try to save up for another at some stage! Thankyou so much xoxoxo

Wow Libby, I can't believe how many comments you got! I am so glad that you liked it so much. Makes me very happy.
By the way, I have since found a better source for arteficial flowers: Warratah. They are unbelievably real looking.
