As part of my general "this house is out of control" tidy-up, I brought out all the toy buckets, lined them up in the loungeroom and had a big sort out. The best thing about that is when little people make discoveries - like Hannah and the old, pulled-apart frog sock puppet below. I put all the toys away again except the puppet bucket, which is still in the loungeroom inviting more play.

I need to bring my odd sock basket to your house, and do some sewing with you... Frogs are a big hit with Jocelyn at the moment, (you should see her enthusiastic lah de dah de dah) I'm sure she'd love sock puppets!
It's always great to allow time for our children to rediscover and explore old toys/puppets differently. Not sure how long ago you had the pupper bucket out but it will be interesting to see if the girls play more deeply this time around, especially Hannah given the rapid developmental growth she's had recently.
i remember that puppet...
