Doing what they oughta

Here is a cute picture of Hannah doing what generations of kids have done in the Rosny chapel: hang upside down from the rails under the stairs.  She is finally big enough to wear this dress which we inherited from Imogen.  I've finally convinced Leila that just because it fits around the middle, doesn't mean she should keep wearing it (the waistline was approaching her armpits). She finally conceded, so now it is Hannah's dress.

The next few photos are just a random capture of things people do after they have been told it is time to go to bed...

While this frustrates the heck out of me (I am threatening a 2 day computer game ban on kids who do not "put it away" when told to) I am aware that it is fairly normal. Working on my effective parenting techniques (but trying not to be a witch).

Here is another typical kid moment: How gorgeous is this? I remember threading peas at the kitchen table as a little kid in Haig St.  I look at this picture and just feel joy.

And then there is licking the bubbles in your bath. Gotta feel happy watching that one too.
