2011 Regatta

We got to watch Damien play with the Navy band at the 2011 Hobart Regatta. They sounded awesome. It was nice to have a few events over Navy week where we could actually watch him play. Mat and Liz came too, along with their kids.

While he did Navy things and packed up, the rest of us went and had a look at side show alley. I paid for Sophie (the girl who can climb anything) to have a turn on a climbing challenge - I was sure she'd win the $50 prize because she is absolutely amazing at that sort of stuff. She was only allowed 2 attempts though and it kept flipping her upside down. She just needed a bit of practice time.

My older 2 girls went on pony Rides with Liz helping, while little Hannah went with Mariah and I to have a turn on the little boats:

After that we said goodbye to the Chick cousins and had a HUGE turn on a couple of jumping castles "2 for the price of 1, step right up..."

It was great, but I should have taken more photos!

I miss playing in the Band.
