Eleven years

Damien and I have been married for 11 years today!
HE bought me flowers and chocolate and took me to the Botanical gardens for a morning picnic.  This evening we went to dinner and a movie.  I'm helping to sponsor his next guitar accessory.
Damien and I actually pool our incomes into the one shared account which pays all our bills and expenses, but we give ourselves an equal amount of individual weekly pocket money for personal spending and gifts to each other.  If we are not sure, we talk about it (for example he says that makeup comes out of the family account - hooray!).  We also talk about purchases from the family budget so that we don't give each other nasty surprises.  Sometimes we contribute personal money to a family purchase, particularly if we want an item more than we need it.
Tonight we saw the new 3D Alice in Wonderland with Johhny Depp as the Mad Hatter. I liked the cheshire cat.
I love the way Damien holds me.  I love the way he listens when I need to talk.  I love watching him work to achieve his goals : Would you believe he's now swimming 500m in less that the required time for his Navy fitness test?  He knocked 7 minutes off his time in 8 days!  I love how clever and talented he is.  I love the dimple on his cheek (under his beard) and his wonderful eyes.  I love his grey hair, and can't help but enjoy the new physique (he's lost about 9kg and put on 3 or 4 of muscle).  I love the fact that he loves me and I hope he loves me forever.
