There's nothing quite like a row or two of freshly bottled produce lined up on a bench to make you feel productive and virtuous. I fully recommend it as a way to feel better about how messy the rest of the kitchen is.
Our gourmet hors d'oeuvres taste - well - unbelievably good, even though they are just rice crackers with cheese (here it is philadelphia cream cheese) and a spoon of the chutney. We are tempted to throw a dinner party just to show off.

we have to regretfully decline your dinner party invitation... because I just can't ride my bike that far, even if I don't bring the girls in the trailer!
The relish looks amazing.
Go You!
yummmmm those bottles look sooo good. My kids (Matt as well) eat this by the truck load. Thinking I'll have to make a new batch in the next week or so. It is really yummy and goes soooooooooo beautifully on our dressed ham, baked in the wood fire pizza oven. Although we love it in our salad sandwiches and with salads in general. hmmmmm feeling very hungry think I might try your amazingly deliscious looking crackers.....Oh and I would be only too happy to eat them for dinner xx Liz
